Current Status of Knowledge Models and Links
IRIS is currently being developed on CSTraining01. A larger Knowledge Model (IRIS Alpha is intended to represent the big picture of the scope).
IRIS ALPHA - In Progress
This is the highest-level model workspace where the 3 elements of iris are integrated: 1) Engineering Concept Selection, 2) Risk Knowledge and 3) Financials.

From this Knowledge Graph (01 DM Big Picture), the user can drill down the function decomposition to understand the 3 pillars of Iris Engineering Concept Selection, Risk Knowledge, Financials.

Engineering Concept: Ongoing decomposition (Planned completion on 9/14/19).
Risk Knowledge: Risk Matrix Model (Completed), 3P Layers (Completed)

IRIS - Engineering Concept Selection - Ongoing
The ongoing effort in Iris concentrates on 02 - DM Engineering Concept
IRIS Risk Knowledge - Version 1 - Completed
This is the backend to the current version of IRIS. It concentrates only on the Risk Component of the larger mode. In short, IRIS Risk Knowledge takes Risks (see Risk Kind) as input, and classifies them on a 3 x 3 risk matrix (9 classification buckets) via the cs-mvp2 service.
The classification service cs-mvp2 is currently based on can be reused in other parts of iris and in other projects. At the moment, cs-mvp2 is based on a naive machine learning algorithm. In the future cs-mvp2 can be upgraded to incorporate Entity Recognition, Classification Rules Engine, and more sophisticated NLP techniques.
